WONDERFUL! This sight, along with your work is so rich with rich imagery. It’s too bad some (too many) are ofended by religious imagery. I can see religious expression is almost anything I see as beautiful, but too many feel nothing but pain. I believe, which is why I blog about it, that art can change perspectives given the chance. Your personal work is exciting! Thanks for connecting. I’ve added you to my blog roll.

Thank you, I’m flattered.
I think you are quite right, there is a lot of pain. So many folks claim “spirituality”( which I confess I do not fully comprehend ) but eschew religion. I describe myself as religious yet working on the spiritual. I am terribly un-evolved, but striving.
Art has been my link to the divine from boyhood, it still is. I believe the Lord knows how best to speak to me. I hope my own feeble attempts at painting answer back.

Hi Leonard–I’m about to perform in a chamber music event at the Greystone Estate on Sunday 1/22/12 and I got to rummaging around on the internet looking for folklore surrounding the deaths of Doheny and Plunkett. And voila, your blog popped up and added some corroborating evidence (the tiles your describe) about the likely true nature of the events. Then I went on to read some of your other entries and became enchanted. Look forward to more reading and becoming acquainted with your perspective. Whatever new direction your life took in creating this blog seems to have been a very positive one. Best wishes!

I’m sorry I didn’t check your blog sooner. It’s my loss for I missed such beautiful art work. I really love Trazolteotl, a difficult birth, Madonna of Trash heap…but most of all Punch. It is painfully beautiful. The colors in Punch are exquisite. And the painting looks so beautiful nestled with its accompanying paintings and/prints. I’m so happy for you that you are doing studio paintings verses morals. With all this beauty in your head it must have been so frustrating to be limited to morals that didn’t allow you to express your true self. BTW does “studio painting” mean that your art work is displayed and sold at a studio?
